Murray Richman

Murray Richman has practiced in the field of criminal law for 43 years to date. He is senior associate of Richman and Associate PC, an eleven lawyer firm located in New York City.

Murray Richman has received the following: Thurgood Marshall award, lawyer of the year from the Black Bar Association in 1996 and Puerto Rican Bar in 1999.

He is a life member of the National association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was the former president of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 1997.

He has lectured nationwide on Federal Issues, as well as being a regular semi annual speaker at the American Alliance on Union Trust Funds.

He has tried literally hundreds of cases to completion and his clients are manifold celebrity as well as the common man. He has represented nearly one third of the New York State Legislature at one point or another. Entertainers such as Jay-Z, DMX, Ja Rule, Funk Master Flex, Bert Young and D.L . Hughley represent a great range of high profile business and entertainment leaders.

He likes to think of himself as a friend to those who have suddenly become friendless.

He is associated with Renee Hill for the past fifteen years, who is tough, resourceful and not afraid to try a case, as well as Stacey Richman, who has also been admitted for the past fifteen years and who has been lead counsel on many a major case
